This thing does not clean floors at all well. It won't even get rid of a sticky footprint. You should only use it on an already clean floor (which the Roomba can do well) and if the floor is clean then it is quicker and better to use a mop. You will spend less time and less money using a mop than you will cleaning the Scooba parts and then, after a year, trying to get it working again and puzzling why it is going backwards or the lights keep flashing or whatever else is going to go wrong with it once you are out of warranty and you are left with a useless pile of junk you are wondering how to dispose of and rueing the day you parted money for it.Irobot Wiper Robot Scooba 385
Only have this product a week now but can honestly say it is fantastic. Able to clean a large area of tiles on one charge ; does a really thorough job. At this price it needs to have reliability though ; I will post an update in due course.
Sorry for taking so long to update but been a mixed bag from the Scooba. When working it has been fantastic but unfortunately it has broken down twice. The first occasion this was a bit of a nightmare because we had to send the unit to Germany for repair! Thankfully there is now a UK based center ; we have just received our Scooba back from repair - back within a week ; good as new. I am going to reduce my rating to four due to reliability issues but still think it is a fantastic product (especially if you have a large area to regularly mop)
